Yeah, seems like people have kinda-sorta jumped ship with Forza 6 coming out. Not a big turnout for this race. Had fun regardless. * !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! *
It was mostly just a race between IDDaVo and myself. Corey unfortunately got disconnected after a third of the race had passed, and Tohru was experiencing difficulties with El Camino Viejo’s twisty track and surface.
At least we have a wider track next time, and hopefully there will be less internet issues. (This NAT OPEN thing is bullshit...)

I think we’re going to wait until Christmas to start one, that way more people can play when they get a XB1 for Christmas and Black Friday and maybe a few car packs will come out. Until then FR mackleroy45, I’m on pretty often and usually in a lobby with a few other Opponauts if you ever feel like joining.

Yeah sorry I missed this, with exams and actual life stuff these next few weeks will be complete hell. I’ll try to get the pre-race for this week up by Wednesday but honestly dude I just can’t justify spending the time to do it sooner, sorry.

Yeah, things are gonna start getting busy for me, too. I’m glad I don’t have a handful of exams for this semster, but I’ve just got a big project and one big exam that determines if I get my degree this semester or not.
Also, don’t know if I’ll be running the race on the 10th because 1) Rainbow will be doing his Petit Le Mans thing and 2) I’ll be coming back from a concert from out of state and I don’t know if I’ll even make it in time.

BTW, I don’t know if you watched the recording of the stream, but we got into a discussion about some of the series proposals in my thread, and we figured it would probably be best if stuff the the Group B, 1970s Rally, and Jeep/Hummerlike Offroaders would best be done in Forza Horizon 2 since, well...you can actually offroad in FH2. Whereas in F6 we’d just be running hilly or street courses or something [not offroad]. I’ve made some changes to the thread mentioning inclusion of FH2 and marking cars that exist in it per series, and I’ll probably be bumping the thread when the next DLC is announced (strongly suspecting next Tuesday).

I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet but I’m not opposed to that. Plus with (potentially) 24 people out on a narrow track having low-grip, high-horsepower cars like that might get a bit clusterfucky.
And skipping the sportscar round the weekend of the Petit Le Mans is probably best, I was planning on cancelling the Grand-Am race if it fell on the same day. Too much racing even with a break in-between and going from 6 to 4 would be too much of a change without a night or two of practice anyways.

The main issue with it though is organizing the races, such as how long in the case of mixed surface circuits, or how many heats in the point-to-point cross country, offroad, and street race courses. Also, I don’t know enough yet about setting races up. It doesn’t look like FH2 has a lobby setup like FH1 does. I messed around a little the other day, and it looks like the setup is just having everyone meet in a private free roam lobby, then physically meeting up (by driving/fast travel to nearby Horizon Festival hubs) at the race event location to start up the race. I haven’t explored much further because all I could do was free roam. I need someone else in my free roam lobby for me to be able to enter events.
Oh, and I don’t know all the courses yet. I’ve only just started making notes of events I’ve had fun driving in. The only ones in list so far are Bordure Circuit in Saint-Martin (it’s not offroad/mixed, though), and some cross-country event in Sisteron.

It’s gonna be a bit clusterfucky regardless. There’s gonna be lots of sliding around and there’s no “absolute” way through a point-to-point race except through the checkpoint markers. It’s a lot of anything goes and “DRIVE!!!!”. I once had a drivatar AI jump over me.
